WNBA Playoffs 2017 Round 2: Phoenix Mercury vs Connecticut Sun

When: Sunday, September 10^th – 2PM CST, ESPN2

After defeating the Seattle Storm last week in a single elimination game, the Phoenix Mercury will be facing off against the 4^th seeded Connecticut Sun. No doubt the Mercury will be looking for another big game from some of its star players, Brittney Griner, Diana Taurasi, Leilani Mitchell, and Yvonne Turner, who scored a combined 69 of 79 total points in their win against the Storm.

Matchup to watch: Phoenix veteran center Brittney Griner versus Connecticut second year F/C Jonquel Jones.

WNBA Playoffs 2017 Round 2: Washington Mystics vs New York Liberty

When: Sunday, September 10^th – 4PM CST, ESPN2

Immediately following the Mercury/Sun game, Elena Delle Donne and the Washington Mystics will face off against the New York Liberty.

Both games are single elimination, and the winner of each will advance to the semi-finals to face either the Minnesota Lynx or defending WNBA champions, the Los Angeles Sparks.
