The Grizzlies outshined the Suns again 130-112
The Grizzlies outshined the Suns again on a night that saw Grizzlies legend Vince Carter ejected for letting Devin Booker and Alex Lin know he is not to be messed with. And I still want to trade Devin Booker to McDonald’s for a large sweet tea and an apple pie.

The Grizzlies scored a season high 130 points and 55.8 percent from the field (season high). They also recorded also a season-high 62 points in the paint.
For the Grizzlies
The Grizzlies’ Big Three of Mike Conley, Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph had themselves an illustrious night on Beale. The Big Three combined for 80 points while going 30-of-50 from the field. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it is the first time ever that Conley, Gasol and Randolph have all scored 20-or-more in consecutive games.
Coach Fizdale spoke about the Big Three after the game:
“They’re doing it. I’m doing the same thing I’ve been doing. I’m running the same plays. I’m doing the same thing, so it’s just them taking it upon themselves to really be more aggressive and obviously I talk to them a lot about ‘you’ve got to be a little more selfish’, especially this time of year and that will help our role players be better players because it will draw so much attention. They’ve taken it to heart and I think they also understand the urgency of this time of year and so I can see all of three of them stepping up their game from that standpoint.”
Conley led the Grizzlies with 29 point and eight assists while going 52.6 percent (10-of-19) from the field and 50.0 percent (3-of-6) from the three point line.
